Patrick Conry has been named a winner of an Outstanding Student Presentation award at The AMS 96th Annual Meeting, 10–14 January, 2016 New Orleans, LA. His work entitled “Observing Atmospheric Waves’ Impacts on Troposphere down to the Surface during ASIRI-RAWI Campaign” dealt with the instabilities of planetary waves that form the subseasonal oscillations in the Indian Ocean such as the Madden Julian Oscillation.
